Jb Protect - The Founder & Close Protection operative

Jaron Barnes (ASyl)

"About me"

I would like to take the opportunity to thank you for your interest in JB Protect Ltd. Please have a read of our profiles on our backgrounds, experience and skills. See what we maybe able to do for you.

My career started in 2005 when I joined the police as a front line Police constable . During my 8 years service I received numerous skills and obtained a number of Government approved training courses. I received training in Emergency response and advanced driving, Level 2 Public order, method of entry (M.O.E), Chemical biological radio-logical nuclear (C.B.R.N) support team, tier 3 interviewing techniques, investigation skills, defensive skills and covert surveillance.

I spent much of my career working along side other organisations during joint operations for counter terrorism, including joint operations with UK Special forces and Special Branch.

After this I completed the required courses and obtained the qualifications and certifications to work in the private security industry under license from the Security industry authority (S.I.A)

During my career in the private security sector I have obtained and become an Adult educational trainer (A.E.T), First Aid Trainer and external assessor. My roles on the front line of security have ranged from Door supervision at licensed venues, CCTV monitoring, residential security teams, Close Protection Operative, Body guard, Asset Protection, Operations Manager and Company Director.

I am continually looking to improve my professional knowledge and Network within the industry. In December 2019 I joined 'The Security Institute' as an associate member (ASyl).

I consider myself focused and driven with an exceptional ability to resolve problems and provide solutions. I am a great team player as well as a versatile and effective solo operator.

Any free time I do have which is limited; will be spent either in the gym or with my family.

I conclude with an inspirational quote from US Navy Admiral (Former) William H McRaven.

"If you make your bed every morning you will have accomplished the first task of the day. It will give you a small sense of pride and it will encourage you to do another task, then another and then another... And, if by chance you have a miserable day, you will come home to a bed that is made, that you made, and a made bed gives you encouragement that tomorrow will be better."
